Celebrity contestants have always been paid a big fat cheque as compensation but do you know how much money the commoners have been offered?

Well, it is difficult to digest but the speculation could be true.

According to a report in dnaindia.com, originally attributed to Bollywoodlife.com, the commoners - Om Swami, Lokesh Kumari Sharma, Navin Prakash, Manu Punjabi, Manveer Gurjar, Nitibha Kaul, Akanksha Sharma have not been paid a single penny to be on the show.

Celebrity contestants VJ Bani and Rahul Dev are the highest paid celebrities on the show. The rest of the celebrity contestants too have a handsome deal in places besides a weekly remuneration.

“The celebrities were given a signing amount, plus they are also being paid a fixed weekly remuneration. But the commoners are not being paid anything. Their pay scale will depend on the weeks they spend inside the house,” Bollywoodlife.com quoted a source as saying.

Nonetheless, if any of the commoner ends up winning this season of the show, he or she will be entitled to the winning amount.
