New Delhi, Feb 23: Five Indians made the cut even as rains continued to torment the 1.21 million dollars Carlsberg Malaysian Open in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
A heavy downpour curtailed the third round after most of the players had completed their second round Saturday owing to showers on the previous day.
According to information reaching here, four Indians - Jyoti Randhawa, Jeev Milkha Singh, Amandeep Johl and Harmeet Kahlon made it to the money making rounds after the cut was applied at 1-over 145. Thai golfers were dominating the third round of the event.
Indian ace Jyoti Randhawa fired an eagle on the 520-yard par-5 13th after beginning from the 10th. However a bogey on the very next hole kept the Guragon-based pro on one-under, which effectively meant that he was two-under for the tournament to be tied for the 33rd place.
Meanwhile, Jeev Milkha Singh was one-under after nine holes to be level par for the tournament and tied for 49th place along with Harmeet Kahlon.
