`Bigg Boss` the best platform to get famous: Puneet Vashisht
Puneet Vashisht says that `Bigg Boss` is the right platform to get fame
Mumbai: Puneet Vashisht, best known for his appearances in films like "Josh" and "Taal", will be entering "Bigg Boss Nau" as a wild-card entry.
Puneet, who becomes the second wild-card entrant after TV actor Rishabh Sinha, claimed he was never a "Bigg Boss" fan and only saw a few episodes recently, which were hosted by Salman Khan, but was allured by the popularity the show offers to a contestant.
"I never liked 'Bigg Boss'. I have seen just a few episodes, like a couple of this season and some older ones for Salman Khan and Ajaz Khan, who I know from before. But this is a platform, where if you show your talent, you can get immense fame and love of the audience. I want to experience that," Puneet told PTI.
The 39-year-old actor said he would rejuvenate the "tired and bored" inmates and raise the entertainment quotient of the show.
"Right now, the contestants are doing nothing. They should use their talent to entertain the audience. But they just sit idle. They look so bored, without any zeal or energy. I will bring that required energy into the house. I would tell them to follow me, like during the morning dance routine."
Puneet is unperturbed by the gruelling tasks and changing equations inside the house as he feels he is too sorted to be trapped by any hardship on the show.
"I am a very stable and firm person. No one can instigate me. I go by my mind and heart and to move me from my thinking and decision is not easy. I am ready for a lot of fun and if something bad happens, I know I can handle."
Puneet said, of the six episodes he watched of this season to understand it, he has come to like model Rochelle Rao and Iranian girl Mandana Karimi.
"I like Rochelle, she seems nice, but unfortunately she is taken by Keith (Sequeira). I am also fond of Mandana," the actor said.
