New Delhi, July 23: "Unsatisfied" with the role of investigation agencies in the country during communal riots in the past, including last year's Gujarat riots, National Commission for Minorities (NCM) will soon submit a "comprehensive paper" to the government outlining the same. "Whenever any communal riot takes place in the country, the role of investigation agencies is most of the time criticised by the most affected community. Therefore, NCM has decided to submit a paper outlining the role of investigation agencies," NCM chairman Tarlochan Singh told here.
The matter was recently discussed in a meeting between the commission and Law Minister Arun Jaitley.
The paper will focus on the role of prosecution while dealing with riot cases.
