Sept 08: Let's face it, when you put fashion first, sometimes you have to suffer a little bit. Case in point? This season's ladylike clutches, perfect for icy-glam Hitchcock heroines, but less practical for the cell-phone toting, hard-working women of today. Luckily, we've found the antidote, and it's FABULOUS. At the Fendi fall runway show, models accessorized space-age duds with ultramodern and über-roomy tote bags in leather and suede. But, these weren't your mother's boxy standbys. The best of the bunch had flaps cascading down like waterfalls, for a totally chic, slouchy silhouette.
