today left here for Amarnath shrine in south Kashmir.
The devotees, comprising 2763 men, 683 women, 82 children and 345 sadhus, left from m a m stadium in a fleet of 332 vehicles between six and seven A.M.
With today's batch, the total number of pilgrims who left from here to cave shrine has risen to 22539. Meanwhile, 9703 devotees have returned after having darshan of Shiv Lingum till last evening. 51 persons admitted in hospital for food poisoning Kalyani (West Bengal), July 14: In a suspected case of food poisoning, 51 persons have been hospitalised in Nadia district after they complained of vomiting, loose motion and high fever after eating Prasad, health department sources said today.
The sources said Satynarayan Puja was held in the house of one Narayan seal of Subarnapur village under Harighata police station on Saturday night.
After eating the Prasad many people complained of vomiting, loose motion and high fever yesterday. So they were admitted to the Haringhata rural health Centre in the district.
The condition of most of the affected persons was stated to be stable, they added. Bureau Report
