Bhopal, July 25: Madhya Pradesh assembly Speaker Sriniwas Tiwari today adjourned the house thrice after main opposition BJP members created a furore to press their demand for an immediate discussion on yesterday's killing of BJP leader Vishnu Mangal in broad day light in Gwalior. Soon after the question hour ended, BJP members began demanding a discussion on Mangal's killing even as Tiwari read out a resolution congratulating Dr A P J Abdul Kalam for becoming the nation's new President. Since the uproarious scenes continued even after the resolution congratulating Dr Kalam was read out, the Speaker adjourned the house for five minutes.

Tiwari told the BJP members that he had received a notice for an adjournment motion on Mangal's killing but added that he was willing to get the issue discussed under a calling attention motion either tomorrow or on Monday.

When the house re-assembled, the leader of opposition Dr Gauri Shanker Shejwar began speaking on the incident but Tiwari pointed out that since he had already given his ruling in the matter nothing can be said about it.
And despite this when Shejwar went on speaking, Tiwari adjourned the house for 30 minutes but the noisy scenes continued even after the break and this led him to adjourn the house for lunch an hour before the scheduled lunch break.

Mangal, well-known Jeweller and former president of the district BJP unit, was shot dead by two unidentified persons while he was going to his shop at Murar in the city.
