New Delhi: Since quite a few days now, it was being said that Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has refused to appear on Krushna Abhishek's 'Comedy Nights Bachao' to promote his upcoming film 'Mohenjo Daro'. But, it turns out that these reports were mere rumours.

"That's a rumour. 'Comedy Nights Bachao' was never on the list. I was not approached for it. There was a need to do two shows and they were both decided by the PR team, and not by Pooja (Hegde) or me. We were just taken (to the shows' sets)," Hrithik told IANS.


The 42-year-old actor recently featured on 'Tha Kpil Sharma Show'.


'Mohenjo Daro' will hit the screens on August 12. The The Ashutosh Gowariker directorial also stars Pooja Hegde and Kabir Bedi in key roles.
