PWG agitators disrupt train services in Bihar
Patna, June 21: Protesting the arrest of their state chief, People`s War Group activists today forced the station manager of Potahi Railway Station in Patna district to flee following which train services were disrupted for over two hours in the Patna-Gaya section.

Around 50-60 PWG agitators assembled at Potahi Railway Station, 10 km from here, this morning and station manager fled the scene fearing violence, inspector general of police (operation) Neelmani said.
The police later traced the station manager and brought him back to the office under protection and train services resumed normal functioning, he said.
The protestors escaped before police reached the station, he added.

Senior divisional commercial manager of Danapur division Neeraj Ambastha said that some passenger trains were stranded at different stations due to the agitation.
PWG state chief Arvind, who carried a reward of Rs three lakh on his head, was arrested by special task force here on June 11. On June 13, a court remanded him to 14 days judicial custody and sent him to Beur Jail here.
