The 35-year-old actor, who played Xaro Xhoan Daxos on the fantasy drama, has booked a series regular role in the CBS' James Patterson show, said The Hollywood Reporter.

'Zoo' is a global thriller about a wave of violent animal attacks against humans across the planet. As the assaults become more cunning, coordinated and ferocious, a young renegade biologist (James Wolk) is thrust into the race to unlock the pandemic's mystery before there's no place left for people to hide.

Anozie will play Abraham, a Botswanan safari tour guide with a deep understanding of wildlife ? and an even deeper empathy for the struggles of humanity.

He joins a cast that also includes Nora Arnezeder as Chloe, a sophisticated, strong and worldly former diplomat who is concerned about the unusual animal activity and takes refuge with Jackson (Wolk).
