Bhubaneswar, Feb 15: AICC observer and former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Digvijay Singh today said Congress would soon come out with a charge sheet exposing the corruption and failure of Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik during his four-year rule. Singh, who arrived here yesterday on a three-day visit to the state to hold discussion with the party leaders to take stock of the political situation, told reporters that the failure of the BJD-BJP coalition government to fulfil its election manifesto and the various corruption charges against the government would figure in the charge sheet. The senior Congress leader said the charge sheet would be made public soon so that the people would themselves decide and judge the performance and ability of the BJD-BJP government. He said the state government had miserably failed to check the largescale distress sale of paddy and was even unable to ensure the minimum support price for paddy to the farmers. Singh said the rampant recyling of PDS rice benefitting the millers was admitted by the chief minister but he neither ordered a CBI inquiry as demanded by the opposition nor took any action against the culprits in the scam.
