Gaza City, Aug 10: Three Palestinians who had been critically hurt by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip died of their wounds, and eight more were injured today by Israeli tank shells, Palestinian medical sources said. Iman Abu Maghasib, 13 died this morning in Gaza City of bullet wounds in the head inflicted by Israeli troops on August 7 near the central town of Deir al-Balah, the sources said.
Khader al-Saidi, 67, who had been critically injured during an Israeli F-16 air strike, died last night in al-Shifa hospital, bringing to 16 the death toll for the controversial July 23 raid which targeted a Hamas military leader.
Apart from Saidi, 13 other civilians, most of them children, were killed alongside the head of the Ezzedin al-Qassam brigades, Salah Shehade, and his bodyguard when the Israeli fighter-bomber dropped a one-tonne guided bomb on a crowded area of Gaza City.
