New Delhi, Oct 26: India won a gold in 10 m air pistol and a silver in the 50 m free pistol events of the inaugural Thailand Open Shooting Championship, which concluded in Bangkok today. According to information reaching here, Bhrigu Dutt of Sri Ram College Of Commerce (SRCC) won the gold in the championship, which had 200 shooters participating from all over the world. While Vivek Singh, also from SRCC, earned the silver medal in the 50 m free pistol event, he settled for bronze in the 25 m standard pistol. The four-member Indian team also included Shimon Sharif and Mangesh Panwar.
