New Delhi, Aug 07: Trading pattern remained unaltered on the local leather market today as prices continued to moved in a restricted range on poor demand against sufficient stocks and settled around previous levels. Traders said poor demand in view of tight money market conditions mainly kept prices unchanged.

The volume of business remained poor.

Following were today's quotations per inches: Goat salted 30x40" Rs 90-105, goat unsalted 30x40" Rs.100-115, sheep salted 32x40" Rs 135-145 and sheep unsalted 32x40" Rs.175-190.

Treated leather prices per sq diameter: Goat suede Rs.3.50-7.50 or 4.50 lot, Napa Rs. 2.00-4.00 or 3.50 lot, sheep Napa Rs. 2.00-5.00 or 3.75 lot and bull leather 40-100 per sq ft.
