Slated to go on air in September, the FOX Life show has been designed to appeal to not just travel enthusiasts but also photographers, foodies, adventure junkies and explorers.

In the 4,000 kilometer motorbike adventure the 32-year-old actress and her father, who is a legendary biker and renowned photographer, will travel through the unspoiled landscapes of the region, battling adverse weather conditions and rocky terrains.

"It feels great to work with the team at FOX Life again. The North-East has always intrigued me and it will be quite an experience to explore the terrain on two wheels. It was not one of the comfortable, relaxing holidays but every muscle ache was worth it- the show was a dream vacation for a thrill seeker like me," Kalki said in a statement.

The journey also aims at breaking the stereotypes associated with the celebrity travel.

"We take great pride in our original productions at FOX Life, which have always focused on 'the journey and not the destination'. We are very excited about having Kalki on our channel on this new journey which is a new take on travel adventure. Viewers will get to see her in a never-seen-before avatar; as a biker, adventurer and a daughter ? and someone who wants to live life to the fullest," said Swati Mohan, Business Head for FOX Networks Group.

The show will also air on National Geographic Channel.
