Chennai, June 26: Apollo Hospitals on Wednesday announced a net profit at Rs 27.5 crore for 2002-03 as against Rs 24.7 crore in the previous year, an increase of 11.5 per cent.
The company board at its meeting recommended a higher dividend of 30 per cent as against the 25 per cent paid last year, a company release said here on Wednesday night.

The turn over of the group during the year increased by 19 per cent from Rs 377 crore to Rs 448 crore.

The overall profitability ratio continued to be "satisfactory" and the return on capital employed (ROCE) went up from 15 per cent to 16.97 per cent while the earning per share (EPS) increased to Rs 6.96 from Rs 6.25.
