Christ Church (Barbados), Nov 28: West Indies cricket officials will begin recruiting for a team manager and assistant coach before Ricky Skerritt and Roger Harper's contracts expire in march, the West Indies cricket board has said. The Antigua-based board will run ads in several international and regional publications and post a recruitment notice on its internet site from early December through Jan 15.
"We expect to receive a fairly significant response to our recruitment ads," Roger Brathwaite, the board's acting chief executive officer, said yesterday.
Skerritt and Harper were given three-year contracts and appointed before the cable & wireless 2000 home series against Zimbabwe and Pakistan. They are welcome to reapply for their posts, the board said. Bureau Report
