Chandigarh, Apr 18: Harmeet Kahlon snatched the lead from fellow Chandigarh pro Amritinder Singh with a superbly compiled five-under 67 in the second round of the Rs 10-lakh Hero Golf Chandigarh Open 2003 here today. Kahlon's tally now stands at eight-under 136 at the half-way stage of the competition. Another Chandigarh golfer Amandeep Johl was placed second at six-under 138. The trio of Vijay Kumar, Bhoop Singh (both Lucknow) and Delhi's Ajay Gupta were placed third at three-under 141. Overnight leader Amritinder Singh, who returned a three-over 75 today, was tied at two-under 142 with Gaurav Ghei, who shot a four-under 68 today, and three others. The cut was applied at seven-over 151. A total of 50 professional golfers made it to the weekend rounds. Prominent among those to miss the cut was Delhi's Vivek Bhandari.
