New Delhi, July 31: State-run Engineers India Ltd on Thursday reported a 49.4 per cent jump in its net profit to Rs 17.99 crore in the quarter ended June 30 against a net profit of Rs 12.04 crore in the same period last fiscal. Net sales more than doubled to Rs 202.13 crore in the April-June period as compared to Rs 82.33 crore in the same quarter of 2002-03, a company statement said here.
