Jamshedpur, Aug 17: Jharkhand People's Party (JPP), the political wing of All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU), would extend its support to the Jharkhand bandh called by AJSU today in protest against the Jharkhand Public Service Commission's examination.
JPSC was to conduct a written test tomorrow for various posts of gazetted officer's rank in the state.
AJSU had called for the bandh demanding restoration of 73 per cent reservation in the state.
JPP chief, Surya Singh Besra said JPP would take out a procession in the city today to disrupt the examination.
Besra said when the state governments of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Orissa can have reservation more than 50 per cent than why not in Jharkhand.

He appealed to other pro-domicile/reservation organisations to support today's bandh to achieve the goal unitedly.

Meanwhile, the East Singhbhum district administration have also made elaborate security arrangements to meet any eventuality as well as to conduct the examination smoothly.
