Court convicts 14 in Coomer Narain spy case
New Delhi, July 16: Almost two decades after the sensational Coomer Narain spy case was unearthed, a designated city court today convicted 14 people in the case for passing off military secrets to agents of other countries.

However, the main spy - Coomer Narain - escaped conviction as he died on march 20, 2000 while the trail was on. Special Judge R K Gauba found the 14 guilty under Section 120B of Indian Penal Code and under various provisions of Official Secrets Aact.
The judge directed the police to take into custody all the convicts while fixing July 18 for pronouncement of sentence. Bureau Report
