New Delhi, July 14: Telecom Regulatory Authority of India may take a view tomorrow on latest WLL schemes of Reliance and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL), on which the regulator had sought clarifications earlier this month. Sources said that based on replies from the two telecom companies on their WLL schemes, which recently came under Trai scanner, a final view may be taken by tomorrow.

Trai had sought details from state-owned BSNL on its latest WLL offer in which it has offered to give WLL connection at a price of Rs 20 while in case of Reliance it had asked the company as to why tariffs of monsoon hungama 501 offer were not sent to the regulator prior to advertisement blitz. While Trai had asked both the companies to clarify the issue, it had not stopped the offers.

As per the hungama 501, a subscriber gets a multimedia mobile phone and connection for Rs 501 only and has a range of budget plans which starts at Rs 149 per month and incoming is free across all plans.
