The co-host's representative said that she collapsed upon returning home last Friday after a trip to New York and Toronto, reported People magazine.

The 62-year-old "collapsed from mental and physical fatigue," her rep said. Osbourne's doctors report that she is suffering from "extreme exhaustion" and believe that she returned to work too soon after being hospitalized earlier this year for pneumonia.

"Sharon has been advised and has agreed to take a month hiatus to recover fully from these recent events. Sharon would like to thank everyone at The Talk for granting her this time off and to all friends, family and others for their incredible support."

Osbourne, who is married to rocker Ozzy Osbourne, has battled colorectal cancer and had a double preventive mastectomy three years ago.
