New Delhi, Feb 12: Delhi-based businessman and director of Lord Krishna Bank Ashwini K Puri was shot dead by unidentified assailants in a hotel room in Angolan capital Luanda on Wednesday and the body would be brought in New Delhi tomorrow, family sources said.
Sixty-eight year old Puri, who was also Chairman of Mohan Exports India Ltd and Director of Foremost Factors Ltd, was murdered in a luxury hotel in Luanda, they said, adding his body would be flown in on Friday.
Puri was in Angola to set up a manufacturing unit.
He was one of the main promoters of Kochi-based Lord Krishna Bank and Honorary Counsel of Republic of Lithuania.
Puri was one of the key persons to transform the old private sector bank into a new generation technology savvy bank. Bureau Report
