Ambala, Oct 19: The National Human Rights Commission has received complaints about some states violating its directives and the commission was taking serious note of it, Justice A S Anand, NHRC chairman said here today. Stating that the Commission was aware of the atrocities on dalits in Haryana, he commended the state government for handling the case in a right manner and providing jobs to the next of kins of the deceased.
He said the complaints of the human rights violation had increased in the country.
In 1993, when the commission was established only 490 complaints were received while this year this figure has touched to 72000.
