Mumbai, Oct 21: The engine of Ernakulam-Hazrat Nizamuddin Mangala Express train derailed early today between Asnoti and Karwar stations, Konkan Railway sources said.
Mumbai, Oct 21: The engine of Ernakulam-Hazrat Nizamuddin Mangala Express train derailed early today between Asnoti and Karwar stations, Konkan Railway sources said.
However, all passengers were safe and no injuries were caused to travellers.
The derailment occurred at 4:40 am while the engine was re-railed at 7.20 am, the sources added. As a result, Mangla Express was running nine hours late, Netrvati Express was five and a half hours behind schedule, Thiruvananthapuram-Hapa Express was three hours late and Okha-Ernakulam was two hours behind schedule, they added.
