After meeting the HM, Bhatt said, "Rajnath Singh ji assured us 100% support and that he will convey to CM to maintain law and order. Rajnath ji said he will speak to CM of every state and that #ADHM will release without any violence or issue: Mukesh Bhatt after meeting HM. It doesn’t matter to us that Pak has banned our content in their country, our content is released worldwide & we don’t need Pak(sic)."

Addressing the media before meeting the HM, Bhatt said that he has come with “tremendous hope that GOI will understand” them and provide full security.”

He also said, “Those who don't want to watch the film are free to not watch it, but they should not stop others.”

Addressing the MNS as a “party of goons”, Union Minister Babul Supriyo said they should not have the right or audacity to create ruckus at theatres.

The MNS led by Raj Thackeray continued to protest against the film’s release even after Karan Johar had stated that he wouldn’t engage with talents from the other side of the border.
