However, this latest bit of news about her is definitely going to come as a shocker to her fans. It was earlier reported that the 'Queen' actress charged Rs 11 crore for her stupendous performance in Aanand L Rai's 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns'. According to TOI.com, Kangana charged a way-to-less Rs 3 crore for Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Rangoon'.

Now, this difference in fee structure has come as a surprise, especially at a time when she is hailed as the highest paid actress in Bollywood. TOI.com originally attributed the report to Spotboye.com.

The report further quotes sources close to Kangana as saying that she has charged her market price for 'Rangoon' and 'Simran' not because she wants money but because she is very clear that actresses must be paid with heroes on par. She is willing to drop projects that don't pay her the market price.
