Sajid Khan had directed the first two "Housefull" films, both starring Boman in a comical role. The upcoming "Houseful 3" features Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Riteish Deshmukh and Lisa Haydon.

"They (Sajid-Farhad) were writers on the previous two. I surely miss Sajid Khan, but these guys have gotten something different, given another slant to it," Boman told PTI.

Sajid-Farhad made their directorial debut with Akshay Kumar-starrer "Entertainment" in 2014, and have also written films like "Dilwale", "Chennai Express" and "Boss".

Boman said the duo have a great working style as they are focused on what they want from their actors.

"They are very lovely, hardworking and extremely amiable persons, yet very specific in what they require. They used to get the desired results out with great love and affection," the 56-year-old "Happy New Year" actor said.

Boman, who has been a franchise regular in the comedy series, said the upcoming film will be more plot-driven.

"'Housefull 3' will be great fun. There is a very strong plot in this one, with twists and turns. Comedy doesn't mean you forget about the plot," he said.

While Akshay and Riteish were part of the earlier installments, Abhishek is new entry in the "Housefull" series. Boman said all the actors got along well with each other.

"I've done reasonable amount of work with Akshay, Riteish and Abhishek. We all are friends. But Akshay had not worked a lot with Abhishek, they connected. Riteish had done just a little bit of work with Abhishek. But I had worked with all three, so the four of us really got together," he said.

"Comedy is all about trust, whether it's a scene or a movie doing well. This team is absolutely fantastic. They are all very funny guys," Boman added. The actor will be next seen in the comedy film "Santa Banta Pvt Ltd".
