Jackman hints at older Logan storyline for `Wolverine 3`
Actor Hugh Jackman has teased fans that the third installment of `Wolverine` could be exploring the adventures of an older Logan.
New York: Actor Hugh Jackman has teased fans that the third installment of "Wolverine" could be exploring the adventures of an older Logan.
The 46-year-old "Real Steel" star, who was speaking at a for the upcoming film "X-Men: Apocalypse" at Comic-Con, appeared onstage to address the crowd and confirmed that "Wolverine 3" would be his last outing of the character, reported the New York Daily News.
"I've got three words for you guys, Old Man Logan. Read into that what you will," Jackman said.
Taking place 50 years in the future, Old Man Logan is an older version of Wolverine, who is trying to live a regular life with his family away from being a superhero, when he is called to begin a final mission.
Although Jackman will no more play the beloved character, "X-Men" director Bryan Singer revealed that he will most likely be making a cameo appearance in "Apocalypse."
The third Wolverine film is slated to be released on March 3, 2017.
