The 63-year-old actor, who played Dr Ian Malcolm in "The Jurrasic Park," said he has his door open now, reported Digital Spy.

I'm nothing if not open - I'm like an open-faced sandwich. My door is not always open. I took the door off. I removed the hinges from the door. I'm too open. I'm like a chicken piccata," Goldblum said.

However, he added that "they're doing very well without (him)."

Spanish director JA Bayone, known for 2012 disaster drama "The Impossible", will helm the sequel to the hit adventure sci-fi film.

Colin Trevorrow, who directed the first film, will write the script with his frequent collaborator Derek Connolly.
