Bollywood's veteran actress Sadhana Shivdasani is a name which created a lasting impression in Indian cinema. She made her debut with 'Shree 420' where the actress played one of the chorus girls in the famous song 'Mur Mur Ke Na Dekh'.

Love in Simla


Sadhana made her debut with this film and all knew that a star is born. She was seen opposite Joy Mukherjee in the movie. The famous 'Sadhana Cut' hairstyle was first time seen in this one which was styled on the lines international icon Audrey Hepburn. It was a part of the 'Love in' trilogy—'Love in Tokyo' being the next one.



Mere Mehboob


The film had an ensemble cast and became one of the biggest blockbusters in 1963. Sadhana and Rajendra Kumar were seen in the lead.



Woh Kaun Thi?


This was a psychological mystery film which released in 1964 starring Sadhana, Manoj Kumar and Prem Chopra in the lead. This film was successful at the box office and the actress already had two previous suspense thrillers to her credit—Mera Saaya (1966) and .Anita (1967).



Mera Saaya


The film starred Sunil Dutt and Sadhana in lead roles. It was a remake of Marathi film called 'Pathlaag' (Chase). Songs titled 'Jhumka Gira Re', 'Naino Mein Badara Chhaye', 'Tu Jahan Jahan Chalega' became superhit.

This classic was directed by Yash Chopra. The film kicked off a new trend of having an ensemble cast including Sunil Dutt, Raaj Kumar, Shashi Kapoor, Sadhana, Balraj Sahni, Madan Puri, Sharmila Tagore, Achala Sachdev and Rehman.
