Los Angeles: Legendary rock band KISS is all set to appear in amusement park-themed movie ‘Scooby-Doo! and Kiss: Rock and Roll Mystery’.

The rock band voice themselves in the new animated film which revolves around a Halloween concert at the amusement park KISS World, reported USA Today.


Mystery Inc teams up with KISS to track down the evil Crimson Witch, whose evil plan involves summoning a powerful Destroyer.


Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer all feature in the movie, which includes six classic KISS songs as well as a new track created by the band especially for the film.


KISS previously appeared in a Halloween episode of animated television series "What's New, Scooby-Doo?" in 2003.


‘Scooby-Doo! and KISS: Rock and Roll Mystery’ will be released in the US on digital HD on July 10 and on Blu-ray and DVD on July 21.
