The writer teased that a sequel to the yet-to-be released "Sinister 2" may happen, saying that he loves to do more "Sinister" films, reported Aceshowbiz.

During the production of the second installment of the "Sinister" movie series, the writer joined director Ciraran Foy and cast members Shannyn Sossamon and James Ransone for a roundtable interview with some journalists.

One of the participants in the interview asked Derrickson about the possibility that he would make the series become a trilogy.

The writer admitted that he would love to do more "Sinister" films, but the second movie has to perform really well before making other follow-ups.

"Sure, yeah, I'd like there to be ten of them, but it really depends on how this turns out and how it does," he said.
