David Dhawan's younger son was recently in news for starring in a film called 'Dabba Gul' with none other than megastar Amitabh Bachchan. However, he has now denied any such development, calling it just a rumour.

IANS quoted Varun as saying, “it's a rumour and nothing has been confirmed as yet."

"Who wouldn't want to work with Big B but as of now this is a rumour," added Varun, who was present at the Night Life Convention Award on Monday.

'Dabba Gul' will be helmed by Pradeep Sarkar, and the film will focus on the idea of a dignity of labour. It talks about the Mumbai 'Dabbawalas' and an MBA student, who wants to learn their way of business for his internship and joins the dabbawala's day-to-day activities.
