Wish `Phantom` becomes as successful as `Bajrangi Bhaijaan`: Kabir Khan
Filmmaker Kabir Khan, who is riding high on the success of his last release `Bajrangi Bhaijaan` feels that earning money is not the sole intention while making a film.
New Delhi: Filmmaker Kabir Khan, who is riding high on the success of his last release 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' feels that earning money is not the sole intention while making a film.
While promoting his upcoming venture 'Phantom', the maverick director was quoted as saying that, "All wish that they earn good collections at the box-office but we don't make films with the sole intention of numbers".

"A film should be successful according to its budget. And if you feel that every film should touch a certain number, then we'll make the same kind of films, which I didn't want. As a director, I want to make different kinds of films. All films should be successful, 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' was successful and I want that 'Phantom' is also a similar success", he added.

'Phantom' stars Katrina Kaif and Saif Ali Khan in the lead and deals with the sensitive 26/11 issue. The film which targets terrorism in the country, has incidentally been banned in Pakistan.
The action thriller is slated for release on August 28, 2015.
