Los Angeles: "The Wolf of Wall Street" maker Red Granite Pictures is working on an untitled psychological horror film.

The movie is based on an idea from co-founder of the production house Joey McFarland, reported Variety.


The story revolves around a young medical technician, whose life takes a horrifying turn when he begins to experience disturbing and unexplainable events while treating a mysterious female patient who suffers from night terrors.


"The Runaround" fame scribe Seth W Owen will be writing the script to be produced by Red Granite's co-founders and co-chairmen Riza Aziz and McFarland.


In past, the production house has backed projects like "Friends with Kids", "Dumb and Dumber To", "Horns" and the upcoming comedy "Daddy's Home", starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg.
