Check out Obama`s tongue-in-cheek remark at Kanye West`s political ventures
Singer Kanye West said earlier that he might be interested to pursue politics. Now US President has reacted to his plans and given some `advice`
New Delhi: At a fundraiser in San Francisco, check out who gave some 'wise' advice to music mogul Kanye West. Reportedly, West has declared his plans to run for President 2020. US President Barack Obama reacted to the singer's plans and gave some 'advice'.
According to a report by Telegraph, UK, the first piece of advice to West was regarding his wife Kim Kardashian. Mr Obama said, “West would have to “deal with some guys who are strange characters who act like they’re on a reality TV show."
The second round of advice encompassed West's 2010 album 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy'. Obama quipped, “Saying you have a beautiful, dark, twisted fantasy, that’s what’s known as off-message.”
“You can’t say things like that. A lot of people have lost their congressional seats saying stuff like this,” he added.
Now as if this wasn't enough, there came a third piece of advice. Amid the laughter, Obama said, “Do you really believe this country is going to elect as president of the United States a black guy from the South Side of Chicago with a funny name that nobody can pronounce? That is cray.”
Ouch. Now, although Kanye West had earlier found some supporters for his aspirations, here's someone who has some real acerbic advice for him. Now whether these are simple tongue-in-cheek remarks or something to be serious about, only time can tell.
