"The BRITs are excited to welcome two of the biggest acts in the world right now to next year's awards -- Coldplay, who are undoubtedly one of our greatest music success stories, and pop sensation Justin Bieber, who will be coming to London for his first-ever Brits performance," said BRITs chairman Max Lousada, reports aceshowbiz.com.

"Next year's awards is shaping up to be a fantastic night of British and international music," Lousada added.

Joining previously-announced performer Adele, Bieber and Coldplay are currently promoting their respective new albums.

Bieber's "Purpose" came out last November and debuted at No.1 on Billboard 200 before being dethroned in the next week by Adele's "25", which completely blocked Coldplay's "A Head Full of Dreams" from the same chart's top slot.

In addition to the BRITs, Coldplay is preparing for its gig at the 2016 Super Bowl.

The Chris Martin-led band is headlining the big game's halftime show at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on February 7.
