Islamabad, July 26: Pakistan is planning to hold expert level talks with India for resumption of airlinks and overflights between the two countries in August end or the beginning of September. Pakistan would soon propose to India dates for the talks to be held either in the last week of August or the first week of September, Dawn newspaper quoting sources reported today. The dates for holding the talks in Islamabad would be communicated to India in a couple of days, the sources said. Pakistan had last week formally conveyed its acceptance of a proposal by New Delhi to start talks on resumption of air links. India had severed air, road and rail links with Pakistan after December 13, 2001 terrorist attack on Parliament. While Delhi-Lahore bus service has been restored from this month, efforts are on to revive air and rail links between the two countries.
