More than two dozen passengers, mostly traders, of a Moradabad bound roadways bus from Agra were robbed of their cash and valuables by armed miscreants between Babrala and Dhanari in Moradabad on Thursday night, police said on Friday.

The passengers were coming to Moradabad to make purchases for Deepawali festival, police said.
The police said some six robbers had boarded the bus at Babrala and overpowered the crew and looted conductor of his cash. They also beat up resisting passengers. One passenger was stabbed, police said.
