London, Nov 29: British soccer player-turned Hollywood hard man Vinnie Jones has been arrested and charged over an alleged air rage incident on a flight from London to Tokyo, police said Friday. Jones, who made his film debut in the gangster movie "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels," was arrested on September 17 at Heathrow airport police station following the Virgin Atlantic flight at the end of May.
Police said they had charged the 38-year-old actor on Friday with "being drunk on an aircraft, using threatening abusive or insulting words, and common assault on a male passenger."

He is due to appear to answer the charges under his full name Vincent Peter Jones at Uxbridge Magistrates' court in west London on December 5.
The former Wimbledon and Wales player's other film appearances include roles in "Snatch," "Swordfish" and "Gone in Sixty Seconds."
