Islamabad, Oct 28: Maintaining that New Delhi "cannot unilaterally implement" some of its proposals to normalise ties with Islamabad, Pakistan put off the announcement of its reaction to Indian proposals in the last minute for the second day today.

Much to the surprise of media here, the Pakistan Foreign Office has cancelled a press meet by Foreign Secretary Riaz Khokhar, to announce Pakistan's reaction to Indian proposals as well as unveil Islamabad's WN proposals to improve ties with India.
"The media meet is postponed as there are some additional dimensions to be studied," Pakistan Foreign Office spokesman Masood Khan told reporters here.
He however declined to give details of the "additional dimensions" and also denied that the announcement by India today to implement some of its proposals was the reason. Reacting to India's announcement today that it decided to implement some of its proposals like permitting 20 more children to obtain free treatment in India for heart ailments, allow 65 year old to cross through Wagha border by foot and deploy additional bus services in the New Delhi-Lahore route, Khan said "they cannot be implemented unilaterally."
He said while India can permit 20 more children in addition to the existing 20 to obtain free treatment to India, New Delhi cannot implement proposals like permitting senior citizens to cross and increase bus services without consultations with Pakistan.
