New Delhi, June 22: In line with its expansion plans, Mumbai-based Mega Visa would increase its software professionals to 75 from six by the year end, and is also scouting for partners in warehouse management and enterprise integration space. "We will increase our software implementation team to 75 from the present six by December 2003," Mega Visa's director operations (IT) Sharad Mittal told here.
He said the company was in talks with vendors in warehouse management and enterprise integration and would enter that space soon.
The company has tied up with US-based IT solution company Manugistics to implement and deliver the latter's supply chain management software in India.
Mega Visa would spend about one million dollars in its venture with Manugistics, Mittal said, adding the company would operate in chemical, automotive and government sector for implementing the Manugistics SCM software.
Mega Visa has recently entered into a joint marketing and trading agreement with Petronas Mitco of Malaysia for joint sourcing and marketing of chemicals, petrochemicals and specialty chemicals in India and China, he said.
It has recently opened up representatives offices in Shanghai and Qatar through its Singapore subsidiary, he added.
