Mumbai, Aug 09: Essel Group's E-City Entertainment Pvt Ltd will open 12 entertainment centres across 10 cities with an investment of Rs 200 crore by 2005. "We plan to roll out 12 entertainment centres which will offer cinema multiplex, food courts and video game play areas across 10 cities within the next 24 months," L N Goel, chairman of E-City Entertainment, said at the opening of the first entertainment centre 'Fun Republic' on Friday night.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan inaugurated the centre.

The project which involves a cost of about Rs 200 crore would have about 50 cinema screens across the country, he said, adding, the centres would come up in Chandigarh, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Lucknow, New Delhi, Indore, Pune and Surat.
The entertainment centre at Chandigarh would come up by September while the centre at Bangalore would open by the year end.
Fun Republic is equipped with four cinema auditoria and has a total installed capacity of 1,272 seats, he added. Bureau Report
