Pakistan authorities tell refugees to go home

Pakistani authorities have suspended the admission and registration of Afghan refugees coming through the Chaman border post in southwestern Pakistan, the UNHCR said on Wednesday.
United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) spokesman Yusuf Hassan said the suspension was imposed after the temporary camp at nearby Killi Faizo reached its capacity.
They (the refugees) were then told they should go back to spin Boldak, Hassan told a press conference, referring to the Pakistani authorities' order for the asylum seekers to return to the nearest town across the border. Some 514 people crossed into Pakistan earlier on Wednesday, however many could not be admitted to the new camp, Hassan said.
