The sources in Jammu said on Thursday afternoon that there is no evidence on the surface to testify Pakistan's assertion that it has cracked down on fundamentalist outlaws, engaged in subversive attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, on its soil which had a direct bearing in lessening the fidayeen attacks in the region.
Heavy snowfall in the higher reaches of the Pir Panjal mountains spelled off trouble for the ultras. The incessant snowfall blocked all mountain passes thereby choking their supply routes.
