Glasgow,July 07: Lorenzo Amoruso's agent will hold talks with Blackburn today to try and seal the defender's protracted transfer from Rangers. The 32-year-old has already passed a medical and the two clubs have agreed a fee of £1.4m. Amoruso's agent, Andrea D'Amico, has revealed that the Italian has also agreed personal terms and now wants to tie up the move. "I will speak with John Williams (Blackburn chief executive) and maybe we can bring things to a conclusion," said D'Amico. "There are still some details to be sorted out but these remain private between the club and the player." Amoruso has spoken of his desire to work under former Ibrox boss Graeme Souness but has admitted he did not want to leave Glasgow.

The defender helped Rangers wrap up a domestic treble last season but D'Amico said the time has come for the Italian to test himself in the Premiership.
