Islamabad, Dec 05: Pakistan has proposed the restoration of the full strength of diplomatic staff at its high commission in New Delhi and the Indian High Commission here and said it awaited a positive response from India. Pakistan had once again proposed that the staff strength of the Pakistan's High Commission in New Delhi and the Indian's High Commission in Islamabad should be restored on a reciprocal basis to 110 each, which was the situation in December 2001, a foreign office spokesman said in a statement yesterday.
He said that the restoration of the full staff strength would facilitate speedy processing and grant of visas to citizens of the two countries. Bureau Report
