Jabalpur, July 16: Asserting that BJP's position in Madhya Pradesh was "much better", its star campaigner Uma Bharti downplayed groupism amongst cadres, saying "the differences were no serious that it could not be resolved by sitting around the table". The former Union minister, while informally talking to reporter's last night, expressed confidence that BJP would come to power in the forthcoming elections to the state.

Bharti pointed out that the Centre was prepared to open a branch of All India Medical Institute in Madhya Pradesh to provide ultra-modern medical aid to the needy, provided the state government allotted the necessary land.

Bharti said she had held deliberations with Union Health Minister Sushma Swaraj in this regard and added that the latter was prepared to lay its foundation in September. Bureau Report
